OUR MISSION

The Texas A&M Lone Survivor Foundation Chapter raises awareness about the invisible wounds of our soldiers coming home, helps them overcome those wounds, and gives them the resources to truly heal.

OUR STORY

The Texas A&M Chapter of the Lone Survivor Foundation was founded by Brooke Ferguson in October 2014. Daughter of Dave Ferguson, former Air Force A-10 pilot and Operation Desert Storm veteran, she learned about the Lone Survivor Foundation and recognized the amazing work it does. Brooke saw the need to spread awareness about the Foundation's mission statement, so she began volunteering with the Foundation in early 2014.

Her main goal became to educate the Texas A&M student body and the surrounding areas about PTSD, TBI, and other invisible wounds of war. In hopes to combat these illnesses, she approached the Lone Survivor Foundation to build a chapter at the University. Almost instantaneously, the Foundation agreed and the Texas A&M Chapter was formed. The Chapter believes in healing not only the soldiers, but their families as well, just like the Foundation.

Brooke, as well as the officer team, enjoy working alongside the Lone Survivor Foundation and thank everyone for their support.
